Atlas Copco’s acquisition of Wangen Pumpen, KSB’s new strain booster system for water provide and Amarinth’s 18m-long pumps were the preferred stories on the World Pumps web site in February.

Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire the German industrial pump manufacturer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from non-public fairness firm Silverfleet Capital.

Amarinth has completed a US$1.5 million order from Armada Madura for six API 610 VS4 vertical pumps for a new FPSO being built for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).
