Gamma Vacuum introduces new sintered NEG pump sequence for analysis, medication, industry and analytics

Non-evaporable getter (NEG) pumps have an entire range of useful and ergonomic benefits for functions that require cost-effective and dependable ultra-high vacuum circumstances. Unlike most vacuum pumps, NEG pumps are gas-capturing pumps that bind gases via sorption. This ends in low power consumption, little noise, and no vibration. NEG pumps have no shifting components and are therefore maintenance-free.
Increased pumping performance

With these attributes, they’re predestined for an entire vary of functions in research, drugs, business and analytics. In these areas, they reach pressures of much less than1x10-10 mbar as a result of their operating precept. A crucial requirement in such purposes is the absence of dust particles as these badly influence the efficiency of the customers’ applications. Sintered NEG material is extensively believed to strongly scale back emission of such particles into the applying. Therefore, Gamma Vacuum developed its new NEG pumps that are based mostly on sintered materials. “The increased pumping efficiency of this NEG sequence with respect to our conventional NP series (NEG pumps based mostly on pressed material) and their superior hydrogen capability in comparison to the other NEG pumps out there on the market are further benefits”, says Dr. Stefan Lausberg, product manager for Gamma Vacuum.
Wide pumping speed range

The NEG series ranges from 50 l/s up to four hundred l/s in pumping speed: 50NS, 100NS, 200NS, 300NS, 400NS, 410NS. All pumps are mounted on a DN forty CF (2.75” CF) flange. The first five pumps have a 3-pin feedthrough which is a common style available on the market. In order to fulfil customers’ requests, the 410MS is supplied with a particular 4-pin feedthrough while it has the same pumping pace as the 400NS.
Superior hydrogen pumping speed

NEG vacuum pumps can be used in a broad spectrum of scientific and medical applications, like electron microscopes, analysis and medical accelerators or surface science. Due to their superior hydrogen pumping speed they’re particularly well-suited in the ultra-high vacuum vary where hydrogen is the dominant gasoline species.
Energy environment friendly, non-vibrating and noiseless

After the NEG pump has been heated up it doesn’t eat any electrical energy until it’s saturated. “This makes it an energy efficient, vibration-free and noiseless pump”, highlights product supervisor Dr. Stefan Lausberg. เพรสเชอร์เกจ : A NEG pump could be installed and operated in any orientation, even in confined areas, and provides a sensible approach to preserve ultra-high vacuum pressures over a protracted period of time.
